Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Lesson & Tour

Our popular Port Fairy SUP lessons begin on the calm waters of the historic Moyne River, perfect for beginners. Paddle towards the iconic lighthouse and the secluded Griffith Island bay, then head back to East Beach for a chance to catch gentle waves during the relaxed two-hour session. Ideal for all skill levels, this SUP tour is especially popular with families and mums. (Tour details may vary based on weather and participant experience.)


What is Provided:

  • Premium Equipment: Soft, stable SUP boards designed for easy balance, paddling, and standing.
  • Wetsuits: Full-length, warm wetsuits are available if needed, though often not required in summer.
  • Safety Gear: Coloured rash vests for visibility and life vests for added safety.

What to Bring:

  • Essentials: Wear a swimsuit or board shorts, apply sunscreen, and bring a towel.
  • Leave Sunglasses at Home: To avoid losing them in the water.
  • Camera: Capture your adventure and the fun moments during your lesson!

Location:

  • Starting Point: SUP tours begin at the Sea Scouts Shed on Griffith St., next to the boat ramp on Port Fairy’s Moyne River. Secure gear storage is available at the location.
    Please note: there are no bathroom facilities at the starting point.
