Explore the Moyne River and Port Fairy from a completely different perspective on GO Surf School’s 2-hour stand-up paddleboard lesson and tour.
Perfect for beginners, our Port Fairy SUP experience combines an introductory lesson with a scenic paddle along the historic Moyne River. Your instructor will teach you the basics of balance, paddling, turning and board control before you set off to explore the river.
The calm waters of the Moyne River provide an ideal place to learn. Depending on conditions, the tour explores Port Fairy’s waterways towards the river mouth and East Beach, giving you a unique view of one of Victoria’s most beautiful coastal towns.
No previous stand-up paddleboarding experience is required. We provide the board, paddle and safety equipment, and our experienced instructors stay with you throughout the session.

Lesson & Tour Location
- Starting Point: Our SUP lessons and tours kick off at the Sea Scouts shed on Griffith St., near the boat ramp on the Moyne River. We provide secure gear storage on-site, though please note there are no bathroom facilities available.
