Our highly popular beginner stand up paddleboard lessons start on the historic Moyne River, providing flat water conditions ideal for learning. Paddle up the river toward the old lighthouse, then enjoy East Beach, where you can try catching small waves in a relaxed, two-hour session. Stand up paddleboarding is easier than you think and is a favorite among families and mums!
What is Provided
- Top-Quality Equipment: We use the best SUP equipment, including soft, stable boards that are perfect for beginners.
- Wetsuits: Warm, full-length wetsuits are available, though often unnecessary in summer.

What to Bring
- Essentials: Wear a swimsuit or boardies, apply sunscreen, and bring a towel. Avoid bringing sunglasses as they may sink.

- Starting Point: Stand up paddleboard tours begin at the Sea Scouts shed on Griffith St., next to the boat ramp on Moyne River. Gear storage is available in the shed, but note there are no bathroom facilities.
