Where Can I Hire a Paddleboard in Port Fairy?

GO Surf School SUP hire operates from Little East Beach, Port Fairy, near the end of Battery Lane. This protected section of East Beach provides a convenient location for recreational stand-up paddleboarding.

Advance booking is required so we can have your equipment ready and confirm arrangements and suitable operating conditions.

Where Can I Paddle a Hired SUP?

GO Surf School’s independent SUP hire is restricted to the designated East Beach paddling area. Hirers may paddle up to 100 metres offshore and along the river wall, subject to conditions and GO Surf School’s safety requirements.

Independent SUP hire does not include paddling into the Port Fairy river or deeper river areas. Access to those areas is available only as part of GO Surf School’s guided SUP experiences.

Is SUP Hire Suitable for Beginners?

Yes. Our SUPs are selected for stability and ease of use, making them suitable for people trying stand-up paddleboarding for the first time. Conditions can change, however, so GO Surf School assesses operating conditions and may modify or cancel activities where required for safety.
