At GO Surf School, we offer comprehensive surf courses for primary, secondary, and tertiary schools all year round. Our tailored surf programs focus on surf safety, education, ocean awareness, and team-building, and are aligned with Surfing Australia’s Safe Surfing Program. Whether it’s a one-off lesson or a multi-day program, your students will gain essential skills, confidence, and a love for the ocean.

One-Off Surf Lessons
2-Hour Beginner Surf Lesson (with all equipment included)

- Prices include GST and are based on group bookings (14+ students in Warrnambool & Cape Bridgewater, 8+ students in Port Fairy).
‘Certificate of Safe Surfing’ for Schools
Our customizable surf programs range from single sessions to multi-day excursions, and can include interactive discussions on surf awareness and additional surf sports. Students receive a ‘Certificate of Safe Surfing’ upon completion.
Program Costs:
- 2 x Surf Sessions: $70 per student
- 3 x Surf Sessions: $105 per student
- 4 x Surf Sessions: $140 per student
Prices are inclusive of GST and are based on the same group booking structure.
SurfGroms for Schools
We offer SurfGroms programs for primary schools, with 2-3 surf sessions tailored to younger students. This national junior sporting program is designed to introduce kids to surfing in a fun, safe environment. Schools can even use Sporting Schools Funding to pay for SurfGrom programs.
SurfGrom Program Costs:
- 2 x Surf Sessions: $70 per student
- 3 x Surf Sessions: $105 per student
Prices include GST, with a group booking of 14+ students for Warrnambool & Cape Bridgewater, 8+ for Port Fairy. Price does not include Surfing Australia fee. (Please contact us for details.)
Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) for Schools
Let your students experience the excitement of Stand-Up Paddleboarding! This activity is perfect for upper primary, secondary, and tertiary students, offering a fun and scenic way to explore Port Fairy’s beaches.
SUP Lesson Prices:
- 2hr River to Beach SUP Tour: $45 per student
- 1hr Beach SUP Lesson: $30 per student
- 1hr SUP + 1hr Giant SUP Hire: $45 per student
Prices are based on a group booking of 6+ students, and include all equipment.

Check out our Giant SUP, designed for groups of up to 8 people. This popular option is perfect for secondary school groups looking to switch between structured lessons and team-based fun on the water.
Combination Surf & SUP Programs:
- 1hr Surf + 1hr SUP: $50 per student
- 2hr Surf + 1hr SUP: $60 per student
- 2hr Surf + 2hr SUP: $70 per student
Prices are based on group bookings of 8+ or 14+ students, depending on the location.
