Surf Conditions at East Beach

Port Fairy’s East Beach offers ideal surf conditions for beginners, with waves that are manageable in almost any wind direction. The beach is offshore during westerly winds but provides great learning conditions year-round. Surfing is an excellent activity, rain or shine—you’re going to get wet anyway!

Location & How to Hire

• Location: You can find us at East Beach, one of the safest and most beautiful beaches for learning to surf in Victoria. During the summer holidays, rentals are available from our green GO Surf van at the top of Ritchie St. For rentals outside of the holiday period, please call to arrange delivery.
• Bookings: Booking in advance is essential! Reserve your board or SUP online or by calling 0408 310 001.
